The trend of the moment is definitely green energy. Whether it's the increasingly common use of photovoltaic systems for commercial installations or for individual households. By installing photovoltaic panels on the roof, a household can save over 1.500 Euro a year, and for commercial installations, it can significantly reduce costs.
However, before deciding to switch to solar energy and install photovoltaic panels on the roof, questions often arise: Is my roof suitable for installation? Will it require complicated assembly and expensive components? What do I actually need for this?
Our PV systems are suitable for any roof, and their use is very straightforward.
Last time, we showed which components are suitable for metal roofs, trapezoidal sheets, and concrete or ceramic tiles. Today, we will present the optimal solution for threemore types of roof coverings. Let's go for it!
Types of roofs and suitable components:
When installing on a roof using roofing felt or shingles, special roof hooks (type J) are used, which are secured to the roofing material with screws. An aluminum profile is then attached to these hooks, where the photovoltaic panel is placed and secured using center and edge brackets.
For mounting solar panels on a roof with smooth tiles, it's best to use a special roof hook (type B) that secures the aluminum profile to the roof. The solar panel is then attached to it using the central and edge mounts.
The installation on a standing seam roof is done using roof brackets designed for this type of roof. They hold the aluminum profile at the seamed joints. The solar panel is then attached to this profile in the center and at the edges.
